Cancellation and Refund Policy

Flexible

  • If the traveler cancels the reservation at least 72 hours prior day of arrival and scheduled time (local time), he will be reimbursed up to 50% of the amount of the reservation (nights), the management fees site will not be refunded.    
  • Cancellation 72 hours prior day and time of arrival (local time) provided: 100% is due to the owner. No refund will be made (except in cases of force majeure: inability to travel to the archipelago due to cancellation of SPM FERRIES rotations or cancellation of an AIR ST PIERRE flight; family death; illness of the traveler or a member of his family, = reimbursement under the conditions applied by the site, ie reimbursement less the costs of managing the site. Provide proof, mandatory for reimbursement.) 
  • After arrival: the total amount of the reservation is due to the owner. No refunds will be made.
  • Guests must identify any issues with the property during their stay. No refunds will be issued after the stay at the property is complete.

Moderate

  • Cancellation between the day of the reservation and 15 days before the day and time of arrival, reimbursement of up to 100% of the amount of the reservation, less website management fees.   

  • Cancellation from 15 days to 7 days before the scheduled day and time of arrival, the traveler is reimbursed up to 50% of the amount of the reservation (nights), site management fees will not be reimbursed . 

  • Cancellation between 7 days and the scheduled arrival time: 100% is due. No refund will be made (except in cases of force majeure: inability to travel to the archipelago due to cancellation of SPM FERRIES rotations or cancellation of an AIR ST PIERRE flight; family death; illness of the traveler or a member of his family, = reimbursement under the conditions applied by the site, ie reimbursement less the costs of managing the site. Provide proof, mandatory for reimbursement.)

  • In case of force majeure, do not hesitate to contact the host to explain your problem.

“Host” Cancellation Policy

Conditions of cancellation of a reservation by the owner / provider

In case of cancellation at the initiative of the Host (owner or service provider), we will refund the full
amount paid by the traveler.

The host (owner / provider) will not receive any payment for the reservation.

Are excluded from these conditions of cancellation the cases of force majeure described below:

In case of force majeure
In case of force majeure, the host may need to cancel a previously confirmed reservation. In this case,
we will waive the cancellation penalties stipulated in our terms and conditions, and we will ask the host
to provide appropriate documentation. Here are the cases of force majeure taken into account:

  • Family death
  • Illness or a serious accident of the host or a member of his family
  • Natural disaster on the territory
  • Loss in housing / vehicle
  • Maintenance issues that affect the ability to accommodate travelers

The host will have to justify the cancellation of his reservation by sending us the documents testifying
of his / her situation, without which we will apply the penalties of cancellations envisaged.

Exceptions applicable to the activities: the activities of the category “p’tits moments well at home”
submitted directly to the vagaries of the weather (wind, fog, etc.) can be canceled regularly without
financial penalties. However, SPM EASY STAY reserves the right to check any cancellation with the
host, if the justification for cancellation is unclear and appears unreasonable, the “non-compliant”
cancellation conditions will apply.

In case of problem with a traveler
If the guest experiences a behavior problem with a traveler, either before or at the time of arrival, and
wishes to cancel the booking for reasons of prudence, he / she must clearly specify the situation by
contacting us directly at the following address contact@spm-easystay.com, specifying the
accommodation and booking concerned.

Cancellation cases initiated by the host and declared as compliant

First cancellation:
• SPM EASY STAY will contact the host if the justification for cancellation is unclear.
• The canceled booking period will be inaccessible for travelers.
• No financial penalty will be applied.

Second cancellation:
• SPM EASY STAY will contact the host if the justification for cancellation is unclear.
• The canceled booking period will be inaccessible for travelers.
• A financial penalty will apply and SPM EASY STAY will charge a cancellation fee:
40 € if the cancellation occurs within 15 days before the date of arrival.
80 € if the cancellation occurs within 7 days before the arrival date.

SPM EASY STAY will deduct these cancellation fees from the payment due to the guest upon the next
reservation. In the case of an unsubscription following the application of the financial penalties, the
host will receive an invoice from SPM EASY STAY to the address indicated during your registration
(payment within 30 days).

At the third cancellation:
SPM EASY STAY will contact the host if the justification for cancellation is unclear.
A financial penalty will apply and SPM EASY STAY will charge a cancellation fee:
50 € if the cancellation occurs within 15 days before the arrival date.
100 € if the cancellation occurs within 7 days before the date of arrival.

SPM EASY STAY will deduct these cancellation fees from the payment due to the guest upon the next
reservation. We will withdraw its ads for 3 months, and we reserve the right to cancel any or all future
bookings (the host will not receive any payment for these cancellations). In the case of an
unsubscription following the application of financial penalties, the host will receive an invoice from
SPM EASY STAY at the address indicated when registering (payment within 30 days).

Cancellation cases initiated by the host and declared as “non-compliant”

“Non-compliant” cancellations include the following cases:
• The host has not validated / declined a reservation within the specified time.
• Host did not respond to traveler or SPM EASY STAY inquiries (See: “No contact”).
• The host was absent when the travelers booked booked, or did not set up the necessary means
for the reception of travelers in the event of absence (See: “No presentation”).
• The host did not contact SPM EASY STAY in the first place to cancel their booking.

At the first cancellation:
• No financial penalty.
• The host announcement will be disabled for 3 months.
• The host will be contacted by the SPM EASY STAY team, and their account can be disabled
in case of no answer.

At the second cancellation and more:
• SPM EASY STAY will contact the host if the justification for cancellation is unclear.
• The canceled booking period will be inaccessible for travelers.
• A financial penalty will apply and SPM EASY STAY will charge a cancellation fee:
60 € if the cancellation occurs within 15 days before the date of arrival.
120 € if the cancellation intervenes in the 7 days before the date of arrival.

SPM EASY STAY will deduct these cancellation fees from the payment due to the guest upon the next
reservation. We will withdraw its ads for 3 months, and we reserve the right to cancel any or all future
bookings (the host will not receive any payment for these cancellations). In the case of an
unsubscription following the application of financial penalties, the host will receive an invoice from
SPM EASY STAY at the address indicated when registering (payment within 30 days).

In the case where the traveler can not access the accommodation / transport / activities due to the
absence of the host, ie a “no show”:
• All of the host’s ads will be removed from the listings for 3 months.
• SPM EASY STAY reserves the right to cancel one or all future bookings (for which the host
will not receive any payment).

 

In the event that SPM EASY STAY does not manage to contact the host again, all of his/her ads
will be deleted and legal proceedings may be instituted against him.

In the case where the traveler or the SPM EASY STAY team can not reach the host is “an absence
of contact”: The ad will be withdrawn from the offer for 2 months. During this time, the SPM EASY STAY team will contact the host to determine if the ad should still be considered active.
